A durable microcement for floors and walls

Cem Micro consists of two products, the rough Micro Base and the very fine Micro Top. Both are a durable microcement for floors and walls. This construction for floor and wall ensures excellent properties and a beautiful appearance. Hardening takes place through both the hydration of the mineral binders and the film formation of polymers.
Its high whiteness makes Cem Micro the ideal basis for producing coloured floor and wall finishes in virtually all RAL, NCS or Sikkens colours in combination with the Quartzline colour mixing system. Cem Micro is liquid-proof. This ensures that, for example, no cleaning water can penetrate under the top layer.

System explanation
The primer for floors - such as cement screeds, anhydrite floors, cement-bound screeds, gypsum screeds - must penetrate deep into the subfloor. Do this by sanding and then diluting the primer Universal with water in the mixing ratio 1 part primer with 3 parts water. It is also important to dilute the primer properly for walls with plaster, gypsum boards, tiles and sand cement. In all cases make sure that the primer can penetrate the substrate properly. For a closed substrate such as a tiled floor, you can start directly with the primer GP and you do not need the primer Universal.

Application of microcement
Apply the Micro Base to the floor or wall. Then wait until it is dry. This is visible through the discolouration from dark to light. Then sand and immediately apply the Micro Top.
Micro Base is easier to sand this way than if you decide to do it the next day. Then the sanding will take more time.
When the Micro Base still shows wet spots and you go over it with the Micro Top then the microcement will show cracks the next day.

Processing
With short trowel movements you can generally achieve the best results. in this way are our sample books and colour samples made. But of course, the final result is determined by the hand of the professional.

Caution!
When you apply the microcement in a wet room, you should always have a cement bonded plaster base. Gypsum substrates are unsuitable.
